Supporting healthcare and communities in Romania
We are actively engaged in supporting social initiatives in Romania through targeted sponsorship activities. One important focus of this commitment is the healthcare sector, where we have supported the inauguration of several medical institutions over the past years.
Most recently, we took part as a sponsor in the inauguration of the Pediatric Section of the Municipal Hospital of Curtea de Argeș, located close to Pitești. This marks the fifth medical institution whose development and inauguration we have supported in recent years.
The pediatric department has been fully renovated and modernly equipped in line with high performance standards. Designed to provide maximum comfort and a welcoming environment, it offers improved conditions for both young patients and medical staff. Each year, around 5,000 children receive medical treatment at this hospital, making the investment in modern infrastructure particularly impactful for the region.
In Romania, companies have the opportunity to allocate part of their taxes to non-profit organizations instead of paying them to the state. We consciously make use of this option to support meaningful local projects that contribute to long-term social value.
The successful collaboration was facilitated by our colleague Aniela, whose commitment and local engagement played an important role in bringing this initiative to life.
