The addition of 30 % glass fibre by weight increases the mechanical strength and rigidity compared to unfilled PEI across the entire application temperature range to an even higher level. At the same time, the thermal expansion coefficient is lower. SustaPEI GF30 is therefore particularly suitable for components that are subject to high mechanical loads and require high dimensional stability. Application temperatures of up to ap 170°C continuously and 190°C for short periods are possible.
